Initial actions in the project after its creation

After creating a new project, you should:

  1. Create a breakdown of work (WBS), create basic and actual plans, create possible connections between works
  2. Form a project team (apply for corresponding tariff plans, where this is provided)
  3. To form a base of resources (labor and machines and mechanisms)
  4. Create a database of materials, or import its list from an MS Excel file (according to a given template)
  5. Assigns resources and materials to tasks

 

And also, if necessary, after the steps described above, you can:

  1. Configure the display of columns in the list of tasks
  2. Configure the display of only useful information on the Gantt chart
  3. Set project stages
  4. Assign to tasks of responsible and contractors
  5. Sets the task mode that suits you: automatic or manual.

Do not forget to enter information about tasks in a timely manner so that the reports show relevant information.
